Employer branding that actually gets used.
I help organisations figure out what makes them worth working for, how to talk about it credibly, and what that should look like across recruitment and the employee experience.
That might mean building an EVP from scratch, refining one that already exists, or working out why the employer brand isn’t quite doing what it needs to.
I’ve spent more than a decade working in employer brand and communications, both in-house and as a consultant, across APAC and globally.
-
Researching and defining what makes your organisation distinctive as an employer, based on what employees actually experience and what matters to the talent you’re trying to attract.
This can include employee and leadership interviews, existing research and engagement data, competitor reviews, EVP development, messaging, and validation.
-
Turning the EVP into something useful.
I can help define your audiences, messaging, content priorities, channels, and the practical work needed to take an employer brand from a strategy document into recruitment and communications.
-
Making sure candidates actually encounter the employer brand when they’re considering you.
That can include careers sites, job descriptions, candidate materials, recruitment content, recruiter and hiring manager guidance, and other parts of the hiring experience.
-
Developing the stories and content that bring the employer brand to life, from employee storytelling and social content to advocacy programmes and careers content.
How I Work
I work on defined projects as well as shorter consulting engagements, depending on what you need.
Some organisations bring me in for the whole process, from discovery through to strategy and activation. Others already have an EVP or employer brand strategy and need help with a particular part of it.
Either way, I like to understand the problem before deciding what needs to be made.
For Agencies
I also partner with communications, creative, and recruitment agencies that need employer brand expertise for a client project.
I can support the strategy and EVP work, take on a defined part of the project, or work alongside your existing team through delivery.
Happy to work behind the scenes, too. Let’s chat.
A few things I’ve worked on
-
ExpressVPN
ExpressVPN had strong consumer brand recognition, but its talent brand and careers site were underdeveloped.
I developed the EVP, rebuilt the careers site and its content, created recruiter enablement materials, and developed a content strategy across blogs, video, and social.
Applicant quality improved by 248%, and the careers site became the company’s top hiring channel for key roles.

GroupM
GroupM had no employer brand presence across its 16 APAC markets when I joined.
I developed its first regional employer brand strategy and built the internal communications and employee advocacy programmes around it, working across GroupM and its agency brands.
-
Financial services
I was brought in as a consultant to help define how a financial services organisation should position itself as a technology employer.
The project started with employee and leadership interviews and developed into a technology talent strategy, messaging, careers content, priority job descriptions, and recruitment materials.
